Sights / Optics: The front sight is a drift adjustable bladed post set between two protective ears. The rear sight is a U notched blade attached to a sliding escalator assembly. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece hardwood stock has a pistol grip, finger grooves, barrel band with stacking bar & bayonet lug, barrel band with sling loop, sling well, sling bar, and a metal buttplate.

Bore Condition: The muzzle and grooves are semi bright. The rifling is deep.


Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Assessment: The Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 Carbine was produced from 1914 to 1933. This one was built in 1924. Production ended with the introduction of the Swiss K31. The K11 Carbine is a shorter version of the Swiss Model 1911 but it still retains a reputation as an accurate rifle.
 The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt body, magazine, and front sight (3 digits). A “P” is stamped on the receiver which indicates that this rifle was bought from the military by a retiring soldier.
