The 50 Ammodor ammo can cigar humidor is our best selling ammo box humidor! It’s patent pending and built using a .50 cal/5.56mm size (M2A1/M2A2) ammunition can – just like the original Ammodor tactical cigar humidor was first designed back in 1998.
The outside measures 11.75″ wide x 6″ deep x 7″ tall. Once lined with Spanish Cedar wood, the inside measures 10.5″ wide x 5.25″ deep x 6.25″ tall. Has 345 cubic inches of volume and is rated to hold 75 cigars (measured using Corona size 5.5″ x 42 ring gauge). For optimal organization and to ensure adequate air circulation, we recommend storing approximately 50 cigars inside.

The 50 size Ammodor is handcrafted 100% in the USA by repurposing authentic U.S. Military .50 cal size ammunition boxes. These ammo cans are genuine, Grade 1, military surplus ammo boxes that have been previously used by our US Armed Forces.
They are nearly indestructible and feature a secure flip open lid with a rubber seal around the rim – making Ammodors 100% waterproof and air-tight. There is no better container for a humidor!
The interior sides and bottom are lined with precision milled 1/4″ thick Spanish Cedar. It is the preferred lining for high-end humidors since it offers natural protection from tobacco worms and mold. Joints feature beautiful 45 degree angled cuts. The bottom exterior is lined with olive drab green felt to prevent your ammo box humidor from scratching any delicate table top surfaces.
Ammodors are built by hand and made to order in Richmond, VA. Please allow at least 3-5 business days for production of your Ammodor prior to shipment. Additional delays due to current order load, material and supply availability, etc are possible.
