The King George County volunteer fire and rescue department is holding a raffle through local gun shop Genesis Firearms. Proceeds will go to benefit the volunteer department.
The tickets are $20 each, and there are 300 tickets total. Tickets can be purchased
here online at the Genesis Firearms website.
The drawing will be held on May 6, 2025 or when all tickets are sold, whichever comes first. Prize must be claimed within 30 days by the person named on the winning ticket, and the winner must be able to pass the required background check to receive the firearm.
Genesis has indicated they are willing to ship the prize to an FFL at the winner's cost. Feel free to contact Genesis with any specific questions about shipping.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Proof of purchase will be sent via text to the number included in the order. This number is also how the winner will be contacted. If no cell phone is available, then email can also be used, but you may need to contact Genesis to let them know to email you the proof of purchase. The "download receipt" button on the purchase confirmation page is part of the webpage Genesis does not control and the button is not functional. Since orders are processed in the store, there is no instant confirmation response like with an online retailer. Orders are processed manually in the store. Please keep your order number and contact Genesis if you do not receive a text with proof of purchase.
