Up for sale is a very unique item, research puts these in 1947 and never in WW2. They were part of the pilots bail out kit.
Rarely find these is such good shape. I have never sharpened the blade and stored with anit-rust spray. Holster but no sharpening stone. Holster belt loop still swivels and brass snap works...again often these are either missing or not working as they should.
