The 681 is the same as a 686 but with a fixed rear (channel) sight. This particular Model 681-3 has a very, very sweet trigger but the exterior is well worn with a lot of scuffs. The SA trigger is only 2 lbs 3 oz with no creep, and the DA trigger is 8 lbs 10 oz. It doesn’t come with the factory box or any other accessories. I’ve owned it for a few years and love shooting it SA at the range, but it’s time to downsize. Like many 681’s, this gun was apparently exported (for police use?) and then reimported to the US, because it has CAI stamping on the left side of the barrel. And because of that, it’s offered at a lower price than a 681/686 usually gets. But if you want a great gun that you don’t need to worry about scuffing, and that’s simply awesome for practice, this fits the bill.
