Yugo M48 Mauser chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm). Yugoslavia produced these rifles after World War 2 and placed many into deep storage where some eventually saw action in the Balkan wars of the 1990s. This one comes with a Yugo surplus leather sling. It has a good shootable bore with strong rifling and some freckling in the grooves that should clean up with use. Czech-made vz24 bolt-action Mauser rifle chambered for 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm). The rifle likely saw service during WW2 with the Czech military and then in capture use with the Germans and allies. A previous owner drilled and tapped this one for a scope mount, turned-down the bolt handle, and added a safety that clears the scope. While that hurts the collectability, the rifle is very handy and nice looking and the 1.5-4x scope is a great fit for hunting. Good rifling in the bore. I had good results shooting this with Romanian surplus 150gr cartridges. Asking $500, $350 without optic Sling not included. (picture 3 & 4).
