This sight is not the latest generation 552. I bought this over 10 years ago at the base exchange in Camp Lejeune. The rifle I mounted it on was used 3-4 times at the range and has been sitting unused in the safe ever since (with batteries removed). The sight functions perfectly and all buttons and dials work as when new.
