I have two Smith & Wesson snub nosed revolvers I would like to sell: S&W Model 042/642 The first is a Stainless 642. It has the classic "lemon squeezer" grip. The other is a matte black coated .042, with the factory rubber grip which shows moderate wear. It comes with a Safariland suede pocket holster. I believe the .042 is the early experimental pre-model for the eventual Model 642. It was only made in 1992, and is generally sought after by S&W collectors. It has some wear around the trigger guard, but functions fine. Both guns are rated by S&W for .38 Special +P ammunition. These are great little pocket revolvers, or as my uncle used to call them "belly guns". Asking price is $400 each. I will meet locally around NoVa, or can arrange to meet at GT in Ashland.
