The first is a Stainless 642. It has the classic "lemon squeezer" grip.SOLD
The other is a matte black coated .042, with the factory rubber grip which shows moderate wear. It comes with a Safariland suede pocket holster.
I believe the .042 is the early experimental pre-model for the eventual Model 642. It was only made in 1992, and is generally sought after by S&W collectors. It has some wear around the trigger guard, but functions fine.
Both guns are rated by S&W for .38 Special +P ammunition. These are great little pocket revolvers, or as my uncle used to call them "belly guns".
