Used 2” .38 Special, 6 shot

This is the lightweight version. Aluminum frame (I would not expect to use hot/+P loads). I’ve just been using wadcutters. LW version carries a premium on various auction sites and Blue Book. There is a later version with a shrouded ejector rod. This isn’t it (1968 serial #)

Anodizing on frame is very good with a few areas of wear. There is obvious wear on barrel but not much on the steel cylinder. Prior owner put color on serrated front sight, probably easily removed.

Aftermarket Barami hip grips (for those who would like to carry without a holster).
