For Sale: Knights Armament SR-15 14.5" Mod 2 Carbine

This started life as a rare full FDE special edition SR-15 purchased new from Brownells in 2022. A limited-run done exclusively for them. Probably had 500 rounds through it when a gentleman asked me to purchase the 16" factory FDE upper for more than a new upper was costing. I then purchased a 14.5" upper (Dual Ejectors, Enlarged Bolt Face, Rounded Bolt Lugs, Reduced-Size Cam Pin, Enhanced Reliability Extractor) and notched receiver ready for URX6 handguard if you ever want to go that route.

I shipped the upper straight to Presample Depot in Texas, one of the few true KAC armorers out there who fully disassembled it, professionally Cerakoted it FDE, and reassembled it flawlessly. (He's done multiple guns for me, including my SR-25 APC.) Result: a subtle "50 shades of FDE" patina where upper and lower don't match perfectly. Adds character without looking sloppy.
Then off to D. Wilson for a perfect pin & weld of a Rearden R2C muzzle device (A2 birdcage lookalike, super low flash, Plan B compatible for any hub-mount suppressor). Want to swap it later? D. Wilson does flawless removals/replacements. Runs suppressed or unsuppressed, even with higher-backpressure cans, thanks to KAC's optimized gas system.

Extras included a Sandcutter BCG (carbon-cutting for reduced fouling in dirty/suppressed use) + original mil-spec BCG and a White Springco buffer spring (rated for double the life of standard (I don't like swapping springs often).

Total rounds on this setup: ~1500. Not babied, some honest Cerakote scrapes/scuffs from real use. Lightweight, fast-pointing setup (ran Aimpoint + magnifier before). KAC's hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, ambidextrous controls, two-stage match trigger, URX4 handguard, and overall build quality make this a premium duty-grade rifle that just works - every time.
