Les Baer Monolith Heavyweight .45 ACP – 1999 Hillsdale Production – Original Box & Papers

Offered for sale is a Les Baer Monolith Heavyweight chambered in .45 ACP, manufactured in 1999 at the original Hillsdale facility. It was purchased by me in 2022 as genuine new old stock and has seen fewer than 500 rounds since then.

This is the classic all-steel Monolith Heavyweight with the full-length dust cover that gives the pistol its exceptional balance and soft recoil characteristics. It is an outstanding shooter while also representing an early Hillsdale-era Baer, a period many enthusiasts particularly appreciate.

The pistol is in excellent mechanical condition and has been carefully maintained. Cosmetically, it shows only honest signs of light use:

Less than 500 rounds fired.
Minor finish wear from normal handling.
Small disassembly marks around the slide stop from routine field stripping (not an "idiot scratch").
The original Les Baer bluing has developed the slight plum hue commonly seen on Baer pistols of this era.
The factory wood grips have naturally darkened with age.

Included with the pistol are:

Original Les Baer box.
Original paperwork.
Original factory grips.
A set of attractive aftermarket cocobolo grips currently installed.

The pistol has never been modified internally and functions exactly as it should. It retains the tight slide-to-frame fit and excellent accuracy for which Les Baer pistols are known.

If you're looking for an early Hillsdale Monolith Heavyweight in honest, well-cared-for condition—with very low round count and complete original accessories—this is an excellent example.

Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.

Sorry - no trades, firm price.
