Good Bullet for hunting or protection from or large or dangerous game like hogs or bear hunting/protection.

The progressive nose geometry of this bullet allows for deep, straight penetration you need for tough or thick skinned game. If you intend to hunt where there are restrictions on lead bullets, these are copper solids and are approved for lead restricted jurisdictions.

I originally bought these for my 30-06 but this bullet is designed for 30-30 and .308 Winchester loads which have a different twist rate than the 30-06 so I had to go with their Controlled Chaos type bullet.

If you shoot a 30-30 in particular, these are a good way to boost the performance of that cartridge if you are going to face larger or dangerous game. The Lehigh defense web site had load data for 30-30 and 308 Win.
