Bought this used and had a bit of trouble getting it adjusted properly. Sent it to JARD and they re-worked it. They installed a new 20 oz spring and replaced the safety plate with an upgraded one with three detents instead of the two
it had (makes the bolt release function better). They also chamfered the front edges to make it easier to fit and readjusted all screws. It now works as designed and has a very crisp and light pull. Unfortunately, too light for my comfort as most of my squirrel hunting takes place after deer season in cold weather. My loss is your gain!
