From opening day of Sept. Goose season. Hazey and I did this in about 15 mins lol.

Thats a nice one, and on public land, impressive.

My seven year old son got this cool little piebald in the morning of youth day. It was his first deer ever.

and i took my step daughter that evening and she got a real nice doe. It was her second deer.

Some how combined they have already done better than my entire season last year. Couldnt be happier about it though.

I have been seeing them all season for the most part. Finally got it done and zipped through a doe this morning at 15 yards. Had an opportunity to drop a second doe that was with her but I let it walk, a bit small.

she looks delicious dealfinder. i find that the little ones are very tender. ummmmm, fried loins and biscuits... DARNIT! now i'm drooling on the keyboard.

Indeed she will be delicious. So after I got this doe yesterday morning I op'd not to hunt the afternoon so I could get a few things done on my day off. Later in the evening my girlfriend totalled her car as she hit a spike buck on 64 just seconds after getting on the highway. So I got to roll out of bed at 9:30pm and go pick her, her car, and a spike buck up and gut a deer at 11pm. So now the were filling the freezer in more ways than one.

That's one strange rack. Nice kill though. I still have not even seen any except on the cams. Got a new climber coming though from HOFFMAN ARCHERY tomorrow. I will get in the woods Saturday afternoon after work.

for dealfinder, i don't care how they get in the freezer, as long as they get in there! i have picked up fresh roadkill before(only my own though ).

Killed 2 big does early in the season and been seeing lots of small bucks the last week. Finally got a shot at this 6 1/2 year old buck I've been seeing for a couple years. Came in to my scent wick at 1:15 PM, all rutted up, antlers covered in fresh bark, fighting scars all over his head and neck. The right pic is from my trail cam last year. He is 28" outside and 131 pounds dressed.

congratulations to you jrallen. that is truly a prize, not just a nice rack, but an older experienced buck slipping up during bow season. hats off to you sir. now... can i come rub some of that magic off you?
