Does anyone have any info on selling to a soldier not living in Virginia but is stationed here. For both a firearm and a handgun.
Appreciate your input

Please read section B.
Though it states "Dealer" the same proof would apply for private sales

DGIF firearms regs/laws

some counties will use this state agency(DGIF) to pass firearms laws they cannot.

I purchased a private handgun today and state that I have a chp so the one gun a month didn’t apply. He stated that even with a chp I couldn’t buy more than 5 guns. Having an inquiring mind I tried to look it up and couldn’t find it. He also said he could charge up to $70 for the transfer but only does $30. Can someone confirm the 5 gun a month limit for CHP holders or other exempt classes
Thanks

Unless something changed over the last day or two and hasn’t been put out, that isn’t true. You can buy as many as you want with a VA CHP.
