I am looking to purchase a 5.45 rifle and I am looking at the arsenal 5.45 slr 104-31 sidefolder or a vepr 5.45 16" sporter. Should I get the vepr and convert it ( bullet guide, remove the perm attached muzzle device, ace/ galil style stock, 922r, etc, or just go ahead and get the slr 104? If you have a different recommendation ( besides get both) I'm willing to listen.

I love my arsenal slr105r, not sure what the difference is to the slr104-31 but it is one of my favorite rifles. That being said I have one vepr (not 5.45) that is a great gun as well. My recommendation is the arsenal, conversions and builds can vary in quality/value but arsenal is well known for ak awesomeness.
