I own a m70 npap and no matter how many times I use wire brush and hoppes 9 solvent with the appropriate .30 cal jag my barrel will not get totally clean. I have repeated the process dozens of times and have let the solvent soak for 15 mins or longer and still no success. Anyone have any advice? Stronger solvent? Or should I take it to a professional for cleaning?
Thank you, Christopher Chutch223@gmail.com

Gun most likely had corrosive ammo sent through it and not cleaned properly. Barrel most like has corrosion in it from the ammo

Hot soapy water (Dawn and water) and then scrub out and dry, lightly oil with a patch

I use my lady's tea pot for that. Heat up some boiling water and pour it all over. It even evaporates for ease of cleaning out. Oil well and call it a day
