*We will walk you through the easy process during the class.
*The class is three hours long plus a short break. We will do fingerprinting before and after the class.
*The fee includes fingerprinting.
NOTE: All classes are conducted by In Defense Firearms LLC; The venue is not a sponsor and does not necessarily endorse information or political positions that may be raised in the class.

Details:
*The class is the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) class, but also satisfies the training requirements for Virginia, Arizona and Wisconsin. The Utah permit is recognized across the nation as the permit with the greatest reach, as it offers reciprocity or recognition in 35 states.
*Take this class even if you only want to satisfy the training for the Virginia permit. (You can decide up to a year later if you wish to apply for Utah as well.)
*If you are a non-resident of Virginia (ie Military) and only want the Utah permit, this class is the only source of training which satisfies the Utah requirement.
*To obtain a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit, and you are a Virginia resident, you will first need a Virginia Permit. If you do not yet have the permit, this class satisfies the training requirements to obtain one. This is how it works:
*As a resident of Virginia, you need three things to get your Virginia permit:
1) The Virginia application (provided at the class -- takes 5 min to fill out)
2) Proof of firearms training (this course satisfies that requirement and provides the certificate you need for Virginia)
3) a check for $30 (in Poquoson/Yorktown) made out to the clerk of the court. You submit this to the Yorktown Circuit Court -- you will have the Virginia permit back within 45 days. (As a resident, you do not need photo or fingerprinting for Virginia. Non-residents seeking the Virginia permit do and the cost for non-resident Virginia permits is $100). At the end of the class (weapons familiarization), the certificate will be signed and stamped. Mail the class certificate, fingerprints, a photocopy of driver's license, a photocopy of the Virginia permit, a passport photo (Walmart - $7.50; Costco $4.99) and a check for $49 to Utah for the permit. The permit will be issued within 60 days.
*You must be 21 to get a concealed permit; but you can take the class if you are 20 and submit your proof of training and application when you are 21.
