Just a random sample I did of .22LR ammo prices at this weekends Nation's Gunshow.

We know. And with one or two exceptions, that's what the VAGT ammo sale section looks like.

Number one reason I have not been to a gun show in over 15 years...better prices on the net INCLUDING transfer fees.

The funny thing is that the Walmart basically shares a parking lot with the expo center. Sad for the prices to be that off

Gun shows in general, the Chantilly gun show in particular, are not what they used to be anymore. Even before the pandemic, the prices were not so good.

There is absolutely no incentive to buy from a gun show anymore, it’s pure entertainment for me now. Just walk around and spend a coupe of hours. If there is anything I truly need, I just get for much cheaper online.

Same can be said about VAGT as well. Way inflated prices and lots of endless bumps. That’s all there is to say about that. Sad times.

A few years ago, I went to the Central Park (F'burg) Walmart to buy some 9mm ammo. The shelves were empty of .22lr, 9mm. .45acp.

I asked the clerk what the story was and she told me that every time there was a gun show at the Expo Center, the vendors would come in on Thursday and Friday and buy up all the ammo they could to resell it at the gun show
