50rd, box - 7mm Mauser (7x57) - Kynoch 140g FMJ pointed tip on 5-round stripper clips, 1937 headstamp, box has seen better days, good for 85 years. Guessing this is corrosive-primed by the age but at least smokeless powder. This was using in Africa by PHs back in the day, for all game, even elephants. (Placement, Placement, just a little Clint attitude). Google “Karamojo” Bell and 7mm.
20Rds - 7mm Mauser Peters 175G. soft point, round nose in original box, box has some ink marking on the front, guessing 1937- 1950 (skipping the war years) production, by the box style. Smokeless and non-corrosive primers. Deer and other game for those sported-up Mausers.
More collector/display than shooters, that's why it was still around. all should go bang. Don't have a 7mm anymore, have shot older surplus in the past.
