The first of our new version 4 billet upper receivers are now being fitted for our SAR-XV platforms. This customer's SAR-XV 9" 300BLK is configured with our popular HexSphere modular free float billet rail system and a SAS Reaper Ti TOMB silencer. After several prototypes guided by customer-operator feedback and some good-old hard knocks testing we decided to omit the forward assist and dust cover while retaining the integrated case deflector. Our new SAR-XV v4 upper is 7076-T6 billet anodized type III-Level III R70c to match our lower receivers. We also decided to trim back excess material on SAR-XV v4 Upper to retain lean mil-spec geometry, minimizing weight while retaining strength. Our match CrNI plated M16 bolt carrier group seats perfectly inside the receiver, operating smoothly with our match M4 barrel extensions and receiver feed ramps. Our SAR-XV 300BLK 416R-5R 1:7 twist barrels are aluminum nitride blasted, ported-tuned to function flawlessly and accurately with subsonic and supersonic ammo in conjunction with our enhanced SAR-XV 300BLK buffer assembly and BCG.
