Hi All, I received a letter today from the DOJ / ATF saying that I registered the model of my suppressor as "762SDN6" and that "description varies with our records". Does anyone know what should be written on a Form 4 for an AAC SDN-6? Should I write 762-SDN-6 with the dashes?

Also, I'm hoping this is one of those quick fixes and that I do not have to restart the entire process.

Thanks!

It's a quick fix.

It's probably the missing dashes (762-SDN-6).

Just put down exactly what is on the F3 or F4 that the Manufacturer, Dealer or Person has on their Form that you bought it from.

Good luck and have fun!

Edit: It's happened before, but if their Form is incorrect, call AAC and ask them what they put on their F2. I'm sure it's the dashed.

Sir,

I dug out my approved stamp from 2014 and it says.....verbatim...."762-SDN-6" as the model number. I hope this helps.

I am SO sorry to hear that yours got kicked back....that SUCKS!!!!
