Just noticed on my 30cal suppressor. I have a light baffle strike. Just a grove from a bullet about 1/32 to 1/16 down the baffle on one side. Don't know how this happened. Either the can loosened up or bullet was unstable. My question is how negatively will this effect performance.. Accuracy or noise. Should I send if back to the manufacture for repairs?

DB readings are very subjective to each individual person. You may have a difference to you and you may not. The same for accuracy. Either way if it was my can I would take care of it.

This is where the fun starts...

Depending on your brand of can this is going to be easy or very difficult. As long as the part of the can with the ATF SN# is unmolested (you mentioned just a baffle) then you are cool. Just contact whoever made your can.

I own Silencerco products and I bought them for many reasons but one of them was customer service and warranty. A friend of mine just "thought" his can was louder. Who knows if it actually was. He sent it back to them. They broke it open, cleaned it, and sent it back to him very quick.

Good luck to you.

Pics of the strike?

It is a silencro harvester.
I don't know if I can get a good pic. It is a groove down the baffles and just a light scratch at the muzzle.
I will try to take pics tomorrow
