The Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical is Mossbergs premier offering in the tactical 12 gauge shotgun market. Its older brother, the 930 tactical was an excellent shotgun, however the gas system required regular deep cleaning in order to remain 100% reliable. With the performance of the Benelli M4 and the Beretta 1301 shotguns in mind, Mossbreg went back to the drawing board to make an inexpensive alternative that offered different features with the same reliability standards as its competitors. The 940 Pro Tactical, thanks to its improved self cleaning gas system, remains reliable after thousands of rounds without cleaning. That combined with its optics ready capability (507K footprint), 7 round magazine tube, and its enlarged and textured controls allow this shotgun to punch far above its class at a fraction of the price of its competitors. This particular 940 Pro Tactical is used but in overall good condition. The furniture shows some scratches and the receiver and barrel shows the same. This shotgun also comes with a sling, shell holder, stock spacers, and a soft case.
