Selling a Remington 1903 with a barrel date of January 1942. Great piece of history produced so early in the war.
The stock has some great patina and all the metallic components are in great condition. The desirable 4 groove bore barrel presents good rifling.
Some interesting early 1903 components on the gun are the serrated trigger (pre 1940), smooth butt plate, the 2800 yard volley sight notch (pre 1921), and early pinned stock. The only cartouche I can find is a firing proof by the trigger guard.
