I drove 73 miles to do business there, and got the best deal for my guns and ammo. It was worth visiting the Northern Neck. They even threw in extra money because they ran out of cash. Fine people, making great deals--honestly the best deals I have seen in Virginia. I'll be back. Tanglewood Trading Post is a great gun destination.

Tanglewood Trading Post actually does give you top dollar for your stuff. Got more than what I was asking for my stuff. Couldn’t be happier.

I see a lot of “great deal” and “awesome experience” posts. Mine was acceptable, I had guns and needed money, I gave them guns they gave me money. I was drawn in by the “top dollar” and “we pay asking price” statements. I was in Richmond for work, and they were only an hour and a half out of my way. First thing when I walked in my asking price was cut in half. I did my research before I went in and I did not get “top dollar”. But, I needed money so I sold them what I had. Personally the exchange was quick and super easy! The people were super nice! However in my experience, money wise, it was just another pawn shop set up. I would not return because it is way out of my way, and they cut my prices way below what my research said my stuff was worth. When GunBroker is selling a firearm all day long for $500 and I get $150 for it, that’s not “top dollar” in my experience. But like I said, I needed money and I already made the trip with my load of firearms, so I wasn’t carrying them back home. Other people have had “great deals” and I hope everyone has an awesome experience at this place in the future. This was just my experience.

Drove to Farnham to do a sale with Groovinmonk at Tanglewood. Great transaction and overall experience. His shop is well stocked and in a great part of Virginia. Will definitely return in the future.

Drove out to God's Country to see Groovinmonk, but a really scenic drive from Fredericksburg. Did a FTF sell of a couple rifles and ammo... Smooth as silk. Nice guy to talk to and very knowledgeable! Hope to do busy with again and an A+++ VaGT member!
