I ran into a pickle with some security guys I work with ... they took a knife from me .. to many, being without a knife in your EDC is worse than being naked .. Ford, without missing a beat, up and asks for my address... sends me one he had laying around .. no expectation of anything in return, just up and did it. (And tossed in a sweet VAGT pen too!)
