I had the pleasure of meeting Joe the other day for a transaction of the Gun that seems to have upset someone due the negative comments they left. Because I was the first person to commit to the purchase he was as good as his word and held it for over two weeks to meet my schedule . I found Joe to be the opposite of the negative description. He was very fair, very honest and I would definitely deal with him again.

Sadly, my first negative VGT experience. Arranged yesterday to purchase a gun from Joe. While waiting for confirmation on a day & time to meet for the purchase, I noticed he “removed himself from the topic.” I sent a new message to ask about the date & time for the exchange. Instead of taking the adult path and telling me he decided to sell the gun to someone else, (which he has every right to do) he merely “removed himself from the topic” again without responding. I looked up the listing again and saw that it now said “sold.” This is the only way I found out that he decided to sell the gun to someone else. Not an honorable way to do business in my opinion.
***UPDATE: After leaving an accurate critique about Joe’s lack of professionalism and suggesting that good business practice might be to simply notify a buyer that you’ve decided to go in a different direction, my profile page was littered with a personal attack, complete with expletives and an explanation that he’s trying to “sell guns, not make friends.” I don’t believe you have to “make friends” to exercise honest business practices. In his attack, Joe attempts to justify himself by saying I made “an inquiry“ about the gun. This is a lie. We had confirmed the purchase and the purchase price. I was waiting only for Joe to confirm the date time and location for the transfer. I invite all VGT members to view Joe’s comment on my profile page so you will understand his motivation and his beliefs about doing business.
I previously acknowledged that Joe has every right to sell guns to whomever he chooses but when you agreed to sell it to one person and then decide to sell it to another person, the decent thing is to let the other person know about your decision. In this case, I declined a deal for a similar gun because an agreement had been reached with Joe.
In life, there are decent people and there are unscrupulous people. Joe has demonstrated which he chooses to be, admitting he’s here to “sell guns, not to make friends.” **Buy with caution.**

Joe is a great guy to deal with. Very fair price, everything was in excellent condition, and he was a huge help by meeting me on my way home. Buy with confidence, you won't meet a better seller.

Super guy! First meeting and we hit it off right away. Something about talking guns, brings people together. Hope to deal with in the future.
