Not only did this gentleman thoroughly research this rifle from a general FAL perspective, he took great care to know about this particular issue of the FAL, this unique piece itself, and it’s history; from issue to decommission, to sale, through rebuild by a notable gunsmith specializing in the FAL. At every step of the process Bob went above and beyond to ensure this historic piece was honored with the best quality and most historically accurate build available. Truly an impressive labor of love !

I cannot express my respect for his investment of energy and care, or his willingness to share these with me, a perfect stranger met on VaGT... I was - and am - honored by it.

And as if that weren’t enough... he was delightful to deal with and talk to. Someone I would truly enjoy meeting again just to spend time with and share experiences with.
