Good afternoon,
I, like many others I presume, am becoming increasingly worried about the future of this site and the future of the availability of the services it provides for gun owners in Virginia. VAGT provides what I believe to be the valuable service of providing a pleasant and open forum for legally and safely enabling the hobby of firearm hobbyists. I'm not a lawyer, I'm a late twenties Historic Preservationist so I don't know if what I'm going to say has any merit but perhaps it could get the ball rolling in some direction that could help this service stick around.

Virginia allows for LLCs to be listed as nonprofit organizations, perhaps becoming something like a 501(c)(4) Organization, which is defined as a Social Welfare Organization, which from my understanding is what the NRA is. I certainly think that VAGT, which has encouraged many to engage in civic activity as well as engage in the lawful and careful sale of firearms within the parameters of state and federal law. It could allow VAGT to maintain to not be held back by the more traditional constraints of an NGO. If this is done it could possibly open up the site for the ability to receive funding.

I don't know if any of this has been hashed out and I've just not seen threads pertaining to it, but I certainly think it would be worth looking into.

I think this site provides a wonderful service and hope that it can keep running.

Hey Brian! Though I am not as active here as I used to be when I lived in Virginia, I hate to see such a great forum as this having financial worries based on google being so woke. Is it permissible to put your link on my videos and podcasts? It is called Outdoor Life & Liberty, and I would gladly put the donate link out there for you.
