Had a ftf, with Steve tonight. Communication was great, he was honest, showed up on time with exactly what he described, and he was willing to chat for a bit. He is a great asset to the site, and hope to be doing deals with him in the future.

***HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE*** had a FTF with Steve. He made me drive 45-50 minutes thru rush hour traffic for a trade which I had to pay a buddy gas money being that my car was in the shop. Only for him to back out because the finish was the parkerized finish and not a gloss finish. Then he noticed I he left his bag of magazines in my vehicle after I was halfway home, I then turned around and went BACK thru rush hour traffic to return his magazines. I wasn't too upset about it, I just asked that he leave some feedback for me since im new to the site and so members would atleast know I follow thru, I'm honest and a stand up guy just someone who's trying to get into long guns for the first time. He said to my face when I got thru traffic AGAIN that he had left the feedback already while he waited for me to return. when I got to my computer I tried to look at the bright side of the encounter and left some feed back for him but still none from him. I waited a week or so and I left a friendly reminder for him, because stuff happens maybe he forgot or it didnt go thru or whatever the case. He immediately took hisself out of the thread. I feel like if the gun only comes in two finishes and he was interested in only one of the finishes he should have made that known during our two-three days of communication prior (it wasnt like he didnt see pictures and I could have sent more if had doubts). Before wasting my whole evening, only to have him back out and then be less than honest about leaving me feedback and be rude and not even respond when asked nicely about keeping his word. I would NOT recommend anybody do business with this member! Way to treat new members Steve thanks for everything!
