Messaged me to buy my gun, asked if I could ship to his FFL. I told him I could if he paid all fees. The next day he sent money via Venmo, messaged me with the FFL details. When I went to collect the funds, it showed “Canceled by Sender”. Messaged him back and told him I wouldn’t ship until payment is cleared and that the payment he sent was canceled. Venmo doesn’t cancel transactions, only the sender can. Then he backed out of deal. Sounds sketchy. Beware! Attempted Fraud or a legitimate situation? You be the judge. I’m just posting how it all happened.
