I say give everything north of Fredericksburg to Maryland !!!!!! I consider the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg the line. Everything north of there it all changes. The past couple years have taken trips out to the Midwest. Wow, a whole nother world out there. If I could just pick up and leave I would definitely consider it. But I'm a long ways off from financially being able to afford to do something like that. Northern Virginia, the city of Richmond, and parts of Tidewater, are our enemy. But that's just my opinion.

The Liberal Democrats continue to attack gun owners. Sen. L. Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth) down here in Portsmouth is and has been nothing but trouble. I just don't understand the way of thinking of Governor Ralph Northam, Nancy Pelosi and this new young Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other liberal elected officials. Lets put their package of bills on the next statewide election and let the people make these decisions.

The only way I can see value in our 'off work' time is to go back to work, punch the clock on your time off...actually get paid for the time you would otherwise allot to handloading...that would be a value...but, you prolly wouldn't shoot as much.

There will be other people there lobbying for other things like education, renewable energy,motorcycle safety laws, etc. What you can do is find your local Representatives that serve you can let them know how you feel about these new gun control laws that are up for vote. Remember, the anti-gun people will be there later that day after we leave doing the same thing. And the squeaky wheel tends to get the grease. We just need to be there and be seen and let these lawmakers know that there are more people that won't stand for gun control versus those who will stand for gun control. As far as the safety for your daughter goes I've never seen a safety issue there for anyone. And again, there will be armed security including many city of Richmond police officers there.

I'm new to VA Gun Trader, and have to admit that my first reaction to this latest round of liberal "gun control" was to look for property in WV or TN, and to hell with this purple state. But I'm getting too old to run, so I'll stick around and take a stand. I'll be there with as many conservative buddy's as I can rally.
I'm assuming you don't need to be a VCDL member to attend.
Please confirm that CWP holders can legally carry at this event.

Ummm, Va gun trader died a while ago. It was great then all the sudden....Must sign BOS, Must show me 27 different IDS AND CCW While I ask for top dollar for this beat up used gun...
Rather due FFL sales now, especially when you see palmetto state armory guns going for double here for what they are on there own website...
Just my 2 cents...
EDIT:EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE YOU GET A GOOD DEAL HERE, but like always the gun community eats its own and self implodes....

Call our VA state senators/delegates and ask them to vote against any new gun control measures.
It only takes five minutes to call them all. Only two picked up, the rest I left voicemails for. The two that picked up, (admin assistants), sounded fully supportive and appreciated the call.

I live in Ruther Glen/Ladysmith area about 25-30 miles north of Richmond. I have room for 3 comfortably if anyone wants to save a trip and car pool.

All but one of the bills from the senate failed yesterday. The house committee will hear the bills today at 4:00pm. These are the meetings VCDL needs to be at in my opinion. Not sure if anyone does attend or not.

SB 1163 trigger activators increasing rate of fire. So essentially bump stocks and trigger cranks. Still not to the floor yet.
SB 1158 can conceal carry without cwp anywhere you can open carry.

I believe someone said it starts starts at 830? Parking around the general assembly building isn’t hard but will require some walking. I’ve done tons of political things before and never got injured or in a fight and we bring our kids. Most I ever got was a argument but mostly scoffs.

The only way I can see value in our 'off work' time is to go back to work, punch the clock on your time off...actually get paid for the time you would otherwise allot to handloading...that would be a value...but, you prolly wouldn't shoot as much.
