Sadly Virginia has fallen to the liberal sledgehammer called nova , me and fiancé are thinking about moving to Utah or Alaska In a few years , we can’t battle that liberal crap storm up there unless we go the way of our forefathers in the 1770s ! I say give everything north of Fredericksburg to Maryland !!!!!!

I consider the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg the line. Everything north of there it all changes.
The past couple years have taken trips out to the Midwest. Wow, a whole nother world out there.
If I could just pick up and leave I would definitely consider it. But I'm a long ways off from financially being able to afford to do something like that.
Northern Virginia, the city of Richmond, and parts of Tidewater, are our enemy.
But that's just my opinion.

I will be there. It’s a shame people let their emotions take precedent over facts and logic. Anytime I hear a politician spouting off about “common sense” laws it translates to the degradation of rights. At what point have we had enough?

The Liberal Democrats continue to attack gun owners. Sen. L. Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth) down here in Portsmouth is and has been nothing but trouble. I just don't understand the way of thinking of Governor Ralph Northam, Nancy Pelosi and this new young Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other liberal elected officials. Lets put their package of bills on the next statewide election and let the people make these decisions.

I was going to go until I was told by the wife that my daughter is out of school that day. Already had the day off but now I’m stuck with daddy duties. What else can I do to get involved? Is there only one “lobby day” a year?

My wife is working. She has this idea that something bad Could happen.. and would probably kill me if I brought my daughter (as much as I want to). She’s not anti gun but she’s very paranoid about political events. Can someone give me a rundown of the agenda of the day? Is it like a protest? I’ve never been and am a fairly new gun owner (3years) but long time supporter of the bill of rights. Anyone care to PM or post here to give me an idea of what lobby day is like? Thanks.

Its not a protest.
More of a pep rally.
There's plenty of security there, I mean plenty.
There will be other people there lobbying for other things like education, renewable energy,motorcycle safety laws, etc.
What you can do is find your local Representatives that serve you can let them know how you feel about these new gun control laws that are up for vote. Remember, the anti-gun people will be there later that day after we leave doing the same thing. And the squeaky wheel tends to get the grease.
We just need to be there and be seen and let these lawmakers know that there are more people that won't stand for gun control versus those who will stand for gun control.

As far as the safety for your daughter goes I've never seen a safety issue there for anyone.
And again, there will be armed security including many city of Richmond police officers there.
