While I recommend hands-on, live-fire training, I have a friend who is determined to do the quick path and qualify for a VA CHP via online training. As far as the online courses go, can anyone recommend any of the options for reliability, reputation, ease of completion, etc.? Thanks. I've found: https://vaconcealedcarry.com/https://www.concealedcarryonline.com/virginia/https://onlinechp.com/

I'm biased ... but I'm part of https://onlinechp.com ... I'm also an 07/02FFL out of central VA. A bill was just passed which delays the removal of the online option until July 1st, 2021. I agree that online only is a poor choice ... HOWEVER it does have it's place, in situations where you've got friends to show you the ropes and you just need the paperwork ... Or in cases where you want to start the clock on the permit quickly while seeking out more in depth training in the future, etc.
