I wonder?
I have listed 3 firearms and some reloading supplies.
No takers.
So if they are not buying from this website, where do people sell their guns and stuff?

Anything priced to sell has a chance.

Not a lot of reloaders here. Modern popular guns sell pretty quick. Everything else is a crap shoot. I've sold over a dozen and probably bought even more over the last 8 years, but they were all reasonably priced. People in here try to sell things for a higher price than a good google search would get you. I know some guns go up in value as collector items, but used prices should be at least 10% cheaper and a regular internet price. No one wants to pay more for a used gun because you paid more at a local gun store. For instance people trying to sell a regular glock 19 for $550. I can beat that all day on the internet. On the other hand I have made deals where there were a few thousand dollars worth of stuff being traded with cash on one side of the deal. For instance I swapped a well kitted out Kriss Vector .45acp with custom case for a ruger precision rifle and scope. Put good terms in the body besides just the specific gun you are selling to bring in eyes and price competitively and things will sell. Or you can always reach out to me if you have any modern well priced weapons. Good luck!

Ths market has been slow. It used to be if you listed a gun, for a fair price it went quick, not so anymore

At times your gun can be priced very well but the price can be out of reach for many folks in VA (since people can't buy on credit or good looks). Good luck selling any handgun over $1000, regardless of the discount or condition.

This site is dead since Virginia made private sales go through an FFL.

Much easier to simply buy/sell on Gunbroker.

For the Northam Laws to change:

The Virginia House and Senate would have to flip to the Pro-American Party.
Legislation would have to be introduced, sponsored, get passed out of a committee, brought to the floor for a vote, voted on... pass in both houses and go before a pro-American Governor.

Might be missing a few steps....

...it starts with the People going to Lobby Day January 16th

Alot of folks on this site are traders at heart hence VA Gun Trader, not to say guns dont sell but as nvcdl stated, ever since the moronic law was passed people have been scared to the ffl’s to do their business and for traders who like to swap guns around on a routine basis having the idea of big government involved in every gun dealing just seems more of a headache than it is worth. As far as sales go, to many people on this site are basing their prices off of gunbroker where everything is overpriced and even if something is priced decently then by the time you add in auction fees and shipping fees you just over paid, so that is starting to kill the selling on VAGT also. Just me 2 cents. Been using this site since 2011 and a member since 2014.

I don't think this board is dead by any means; we're still here, aren't we? grin
(Although I would agree with those that say people try to look at gunbroker to set their price and assume everyone will pay above "new" pricing for "used" firearms.)

However - gunbroker can be a pain to deal with, too, because:

* Very few deals on GB
* Sales tax is a pain...
* and then a lousy BS 1% "compliance" fee you gotta pay
* Good luck trying to get anything fixed via GB.. they're like Ebay/PayPal where the easiest solution wins out, not the fairest
* Don't even get me started on trying to ship a gun via gunbroker if you're not an FFL. Arrgh...
* Not to mention the high fees associated with selling (and the payment as well)

Anyways - I'm grateful for VGT - but a lot of folks really need to drop prices as I see a lot of used firearms go for more than the "new" price online.

VAGT is still very alive in the buying and selling world and for the community members who have been apart of VAGT for a long time we feel this is the one stop shop, go to place. What may make it seem like that is just as saod above. No used OEM glock is $500, you can literally buy a new one for that and if not then your local ffl is ripping you off.
