Va Hunter Gun fool Registered: 12/11/08 Posts: 830 Loc: Drakes Branch City or County: Charlotte	Got this one yesterday evening about 5:30. 8 point with a huge body that I’m guessing went 175 pounds. Used a T/C Omega loaded with two 777 pellets and a Barnes 250gr TEZ bullet. Dropped on the spot in my food plot, no dragging necessary, just backed the 4 wheeler right up to him. I still have 10 tags left ( 5 are DCAP tags) but going to be a tad too warm the rest of the week to hunt. But then again that’s what I said about yesterday. Edited by Va Hunter (11/07/23 11:22 AM)

I use Thor 300gr projectiles, this is the 1st time one stayed in the deer and I was able to recover it. I weighed several of the unfired projectiles from the box and the weights varied from 298.6gr to 301gr.
