I built this rifle years ago and it groups 1/4” at 25 yards, no problem. Fun rifle with a laundry list of mods, but im trying to fund a cz 457 as a suppressor host.

Summary of mods:
- 18” Stainless bead blast finish bull barrel.
- Volquartsen internals in a ruger metal trigger group housing.
- I don’t remember the brand of this stock, but it gets complements everywhere I go
- vq charging handle, anti-droop v-block, stainless receiver pins, vq buffer, moonduck takedown screw, barely any of this rifle is still ruger.


This gun likes almost any ammo. It has the volquartsen extractor, which is the only extractor that will pull live ammo out if this chamber since it’s pretty tight. I tried 4 different ones before landing on the vq.

I can include the counterfeit harris bipod if you want it.

I have a ridiculous amount of money into this build. I don’t expect to get any more than 1/3rd of that back, so price is set to:

The fiber optic iron sights still work even with the pic rail receiver. The gun looks bigger in pictures than in reality. I put a red dot on this rifle once and that seemed ideal.
