Para Warthog 1911 45 ACP -(2x) 10 round mag + (1x) 20 round mag (new/unfired) - Want to Sell for $949 cash Excellent-Near Mint Condition

I bought this New in 2015 - What I consider to be the last best production run of Para - with its best improvements before Remington took over. Not sure what Remington has done with this line since then. I've put 300 plus rounds through it. I have three magazines -(2x) 10 round mag + (1x) 20 round mag (new) , the original box and everything, original grips -plus I've added the Hogue grips which add another finger grip and even more solid gripping power. I'm selling because I already have a full size 1911 A1 and two other lighter 45s. The lighter ones do not shoot as well, but are lighter to carry.

The Warthog fires great, holds 10 or 20 rounds. As a heavier solid stainless steel gun (frame and slide both SS, I find the recoil quite pleasant. People who complain about this gun either have one of the very early models or have usually not fired enough rounds to break it in. The break-in period is necessary for this gun. New out of the box, it fires about 5 rounds and then locks back in the slide locked open position. Thumb it and it continues to fire. As I had read beforehand, I had to run about 250 rounds through this to break it in. From there it was perfect. I then ran another 50 rounds to make sure the break-in was complete. I've only fired name brand hard ball ammo so far.

((Also. This is truly for a man with a strong grip. Men or most women -with weaker grips will not be able to pull the slide back on this gun. Unloaded, this gun is nearly child-proof - as younger children could not rack the slide so as to put a bullet in the chamber.))

Also, before I learned of the break-in period - I bought a 3 Spring Set of Custom Wolf Magazine +5% Springs. These worked fine but did not negate the need for the break-in period. These are also included.

The gun with these Hogue grips weighs 1 lb 12.7 oz without a magazine and with an empty magazine weighs 1 lb and 15 oz.
