I am writing this to warn others about crypticalraisen’s actions. I reached out to him asking if he would be interested in trading a rifle he had posted. He showed interest and through negotiations he implied we would meet. At this point I see him change his post and state that if it wasn’t sold by Monday he was going to take it to the local store. I reach out to him asking if we are actually meeting or not since I saw this change. He tells me and I quote “We're going to meet. Just a last hail Mary to get cash but honestly I keep getting low balled so I'd like to do the trade. People keep offering me their Glocks and like $50 and it was getting to be a lot.” After this we end up making plans to meet half way between each other. I called and made an appointment at the FFL.

Today I get a text that says “Hey, I have a full cash offer for my lever action. I appreciate the time we spent negotiating but I need the cash more than the rifle. I apologize for the inconvenience.”

Anyone who deals with him be aware that he might just cancel a deal if something better comes along.

He screwed me on a deal also..I just didn’t post it..

He wasted my time going back and forth on trading for his lever action plus cash. Even after agreed on terms. Didn’t post anything then, but seemed it be important to warn others.

You 2 should have posted this separately. When it happened. To remind this member it's not the proper way to conduct ourselves. Do unto others etc etc

So because bad manners was not corrected it was seen as ok to move forward with the same disregard

I never said you ghosted me or ignored me. But at the end of the day when you agree to a meet you should follow through with it. If you needed the cash so bad then why agree to take a trade? Why not just keep trying to sell? Even though you communicated the changes as they went, they were communicated the day we were gonna meet. It was a waste of my time and the FFL’s time. You even kept bumping your post for weeks after the fact. This has nothing to do with being a “keyboard-warrior”, it has to do with your word and at the end of the day I’m trying to make people aware you might go back on yours. Just from this thread alone it seems you have done this to others which is why I posted the feedback.
