Produced in 1950 according to what I've found on 1911addicts.com. Also known as a Commercial Contract Colt. Gun is in excellent condition with all matching serial numbers, even on the magazine, and no import marks. I've owned this gun for over 30 years. It shoots 230 grain ball ammo flawlessly.
