Hey everyone, this is definitely not your average 5.56 ammo. Designed by the Swiss Military in the 80's for their standard issue rifles (SG540, SG550), these are a great addition to a collector of Swiss firearms and ammunition. All the rounds are stamped "MFT - 84". "MFT" appears to be the manufacturer "Munitionsfabrik Thun, Thun, Switzerland". I have 180 rounds of these - 100 are stored in re-used boxes, and 80 are on stripper clips (how they came originally packaged). Included are the two boxes shown in the pictures as well.

This ammunition is designed and manufactured for a 1:10 twist barrel, which is what the Swiss SG550 uses. This ammo is not designed to be fired out of 1:7 - 1:8 barrels commonly seen with US rifles. It'll work fine, but won't be as accurate and essentially would be a waste. This ammo should really be bought by someone who has the correct rifle to pair with it.

I've had them for nearly 9 years stored in a sealed ammo can in my climate-controlled basement, but have no need for them as I do not have a Swiss rifle to pair them with. I am asking $360 ($2/round) for all 180 rounds. Meet FTF in Front Royal/Winchester.
