I've been on this site a long time and it pains me to have to finally write my first negative feedback.

I had my doubts when I bought a couple Benchmade Bugout 535 knives from bigd200315 for about half price. Figured he was just hard up for cash so I took the risk. They looked fine to my ignorant, uneducated eye.

Some time has passed and apparently others also fell victim to the misrepresentation because I received several PMs regarding this guy and his knives. This caused me to check the knives I got from him and sure enough, they appear to be knock offs based on all available info I can find.

Wouldn't be a big deal if he was up front about it or if he took responsibility and made it right, but I texted yesterday asking for a partial refund and received no reply. If the guy was unaware, it is what it is and he has plausible deniability - but given the price, I'd wager that he knew full fell these knives were not genuine.

I'm happy to remove this post if the requested partial refund is sent, but folks should know that this guy seems to have knowingly concealed the fact that he was selling fake Benchmade knives and representing them as genuine. That's a big no-no.

Man up and pay me back. I'm being generous by asking for a partial. Do the right thing.

Instead of replying to our text chain he passive agressively edited his comment on my profile to read:

"I met him while he purchased a couple knives from me. Seemed like a nice guy.

6 weeks later he decided he wasn't happy with his purchase. He texted me with threats saying if I didn't send him money to his Zelle account by midnight bad things would happen."

As you can see by the attached screenshots, the dude is a fraudster and a liar. Hopefully he is perma-banned swiftly.

I also bought a Benchmade from BigD. My sons immediately spotted it as fake (they knew exactly where to buy them on Tik Tok for $15) I asked for a $60 refund and BigD was quick to accomodate my request so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but now, with all of these other guys telling the same story, I realize that he had to know.
