The Mossberg 930 is considered by some to be the softest shooting 12g there is, with its short-stroke piston system. The 28” vent rib barrel is factory ported, with front fiber sight. This gun has taken many deer years ago, and has been used in a few 3-gun matches. All told, am guessing over 2000 rounds through it, not much by shotgun standards. Until recently when I was getting it ready for sale it hadn’t been fired in many years. I cleaned it some and fired one tube of shells through it after cleaning.

This gun also features an SBE Precision gas piston, which is a great upgrade to the factory piston for reliability, and extends the cleaning interval hugely. Mossberg stole this idea for the 940 series. Additionally, a Choate extended magazine tube raises capacity to 10+1, plus an improved, oversized charging handle. There’s also an improved replacement follower, can’t remember which one.

Considering its use it is in quite good cosmetic condition, pretty clean. The worst spot is the top by the scope mounts, as it did have a red dot on it for a while. Comes with all the original parts, owners manual, factory box.
