Lee Enfield S.M.L.E No. 1, Mk. III, Lithgow 1942
$1000 or BRO - The only trade I can think of is a .357 lever action, but I'm open to offers.

Midway sells the ammo I'm offering for $25.99/box and I'm including 30 boxes, so that's $780 for the ammo alone.

Made in Lithgow Australia for WWII, this rifle is in excellent condition for its age - a few minor dings and scrapes, but far better shape than most examples I've seen.

The only thing wrong that I'm aware of is the stacking swivel is missing. I replaced the rear sight with a Mojo Sights micro-click peep sight, but it's a drop-in part and I have the original if you want to restore it to original.

Everyone told me to use Hornady match ammo, but I got several blown primers and one head separation. I gave PPU a try and they not only group better, but no blown primers and no head separations. In one of my photos on Google Drive, you can see how I grouped at 50 yards - my reloads still needed a lot of work, but the factory ammo was about as tight as my aging eyes could do.

Comes with:
(3) original mags
(1) ProMag (fits really tight, but a bit of filing could correct that
(2) stripper clips
(1) Mojo Sights micro-click peep sight
(1) original sight
(1) sling
(580) rds of PPU 174gn ammo
(19) rds of PPU 180gn ammo
(10) dummy rounds for practicing use of stripper clips (bullet & case, no primer or powder)
(21) once-fired PPU cases.

We are no longer required to do background checks, but I will expect to see proof of residency in Virginia.

Thank you,
Charlie
