For sale is an original Colt 1849 Pocket pistol in .31 made in 1853. Appears to be numbers matching with a factory mistake cylinder (every part is 68595 but the cylinder was mistakenly marked 68559; with the final 2 digits transposed). Mechanically the action seems to be working but I'm selling this as non-firing because I'm not sure if the nipples/cylinder-gap/etc are safe to fire/buyer assumes all liability if they attempt to fire it. Finish is heavily worn and the stage scene is mostly gone. Very cool historical piece.
