For sale is a Brazilian-contract S&W Model 1917 chambered for .45 ACP. This one shows some finish wear from carry but has excellent mechanics and bore. It will be a great shooter. Brazil purchased these from Smith & Wesson in about 1937 and S&W added a Brazilian crest to the frame. Mechanically identical to the ones used by US troops in WW1.
