I figure this is probably the most appropriate place to post this. AliExpress has a deal on a chamber vacuum sealer that is pretty awesome. Some probably don't like buying stuff from them and I can respect that.

The brand at the link is "SucceBuy" (umm...ok ) but clearly pictured and what is delivered is a Vevor, a brand I had not heard of. So if you get one, friends won't come over and laugh at your "SucceBuy".

Current price is $170 which is hard to believe, but mine arrived (in record time) and I am impressed. I have also used a VacMaster (much more expensive machine) and this one performs just as well. In fact, I think it draws a vacuum slightly faster.

If you use a FoodSaver, you'll be blown away by how great chamber vacs work. You can vac seal wet goods without worrying about liquid escaping into the pump. And the bags for a chamber sealer are a fraction of what FoodSaver bags cost. Going by the cheapest foodsaver bags I could find on Amazon, they work out to about $0.30 per foot. Chamber bags from webstaurantstore.com are about $0.08 per foot.
