Genuine WWII Underwood M1 Carbine, serial 4064994 (early 1944 production block—see heel photos showing partial "UND...OOD" beneath rear sight dovetail, confirming original Underwood receiver). Excellent condition: strong original parkerized metal (honest wear, no pitting/rust), excellent walnut low-wood stock (rich grain/patina, no cracks/refinishing), tight fits, bright bore (strong rifling—photos on request), fully functional. Classic USGI mixmaster with WWII subcontractor parts + postwar rebuild/foreign service—very common authentic survivor.

* Receiver: Underwood (heel serial + partial "UNDERWOOD" stamp visible left/right of sight); top ring "U.S. CARBINE CAL .30 M1"; right side boxed "Inland" trigger housing (postwar rebuild).

* Barrel: Rock-Ola (prominent body and piston stamps—desirable complete group); "EU" front sight base; "S." proof left; Federal Ordnance Inc. S. El Monte CA import mark right side (faint, classic 1980s–90s surplus).
